Christmas plans in Marbella

Like art? During this Christmas you can enjoy an exhibition of Peruvian artist Carlos Revilla at the Ralli Museum. The exhibition, which will feature paintings of medium and large size, shows the surreal and magical-realist painter shed, which also endowed his paintings of a component of commitment to the problems of society. The museum is located in Urb.coral Beach, Rio Verde, N-340, km.176.

Thursday 17 we have several interesting events with cultural and Christmas thematic. For example, a guided tour of two hours to the Villa Romana de Rio Verde, you can enjoy from 11 am onwards.
That same evening from 17.00 the little ones can visit the Royal Postman in the plaza of the neighborhood association Las Albarizas in Magallanes street. You´ll enjoy chocolate, churros, sweets, Christmas anise and pastoral acts. From 20:00 a Christmas concert will be held. There will be a concert of carols performed by students of music (flute, piano, guitar, singing and choir) of the Municipal Conservatory of Marbella. Will be held in the auditorium of the Conservatory located in the park of the Constitution.

By day 18, we have a good number of Christmas events such as Christmas sweets contest to be held at the Center for Active Participation Miraflores Marbella from 14.00, or Papa Noel party in the association El Barrio and neighbors "chocolatada" in Fernando de los Rios association headquarters, both from 17.00.
At 18.00 hours the Ice Park next to the Exhibition and Congress will open. There will be two ice rinks, one for children and one for adults, plus children's attractions, chocolate and restaurants.
At nine in the evening, the Parroquia de la Encarnación will host a Christmas concert featuring the choir of the parish.

On Saturday 19 it held a tender musical initiative. It is the Family Music Series "Music Beats", which will explain and demonstrate the benefits of music for children and babies. The activity will have place in the Deputy Mayor of Las Chapas and there will be two time shifts. From 11:00 to 11:45 hours: Music for babies and families, from 0 to 17 months and 12:00 to 12:45 for babies 18-36 months.
Besides, we can attend the great Russian Christmas show at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions from 13:30.
In the afternoon, will be held the VIII "Turkey Race", from the Alameda Park, the X Living NativityX will open at the Plaza de José Antonio Pérez Cervera, in the neighborhood of Leganitos and will take place the traditional afternoon tea and Christmas dance at the Center for Active Participation "Los Paisajes".

The next day, the Living Nativity of Alameda, which turns 30, opens. The live nativity scene counts with over 125 actors, children of the Academy as well as family. As has become traditional, the mall will become the ancient town of Bethlehem, with its houses, fields, vegetation, animals, shops of various trades and, of course, Joseph, Mary, Baby Jesus, shepherds, Angels, Herod and his Roman guard, SS.MM. the Three Wise Men who arrive on horseback accompanied by his entourage. All this happens through the biblical narrative and music that will place us at this moment in history. Will be open from 12.30 in the park of La Alameda.
Younger guests can choose to attend the musical "Of tales", full of fantasy and fun, where children are the real stars and enjoy to the fullest with their favorite characters at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions, from 18.00 . An hour later, the older ones will do the same in the Christmas Concert Málaga Chamber, which will take place in the Marbella Town Theatre.

On Tuesday December 22 from 20.00, good music will be back to the disco Rosé Marbella. In this charity event in favor of the Voluntary Partnership Marbella, Retro DJ prick for all attendees. The event will be attended by actress Monica Cervera, journalist Juan Zamora, businessman David Arrocha, Councilman Ricardo Lopez and the lawyer Juan Luis Gamez. The local, that has thirties atmosphere of modern decor with a stage for concerts and monologues, is situated Calle Ramon Gomez de la Serna, 7. Furthermore,from 17:30 the Awards in Children's Christmas Card Competition and Contest Crib in Church Square is celebrated.

By Wednesday 23 we have a parade, a children's party and a concert. The first, entitled "Sweet Christmas" will go through the main streets of Marbella from 17.00. The children's party held at the Paseo de la Alameda, will held different activities for children, bouncy castles, workshops and animation show "Illusionists", cotton candy, etc.. In the neighborhood association Vazquez Clavel, Santa Claus will be collecting letters from children and dodging gifts.
At 20.00 will start the concert of  "Excéntrico Milú" in the plaza of the Church organized by the Tourist Board.

Christmas Eve Thursday, two Eucharists will be celebrated in the Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación parish. One at 19:00 and another at 0.00 pm. The next day, Christmas celebrations will continue in the parish.
 
Saturday 26  a parade of "The Three Wise Men royal postmans", which will tour the main streets of the city starting at 11.00. An hour later the children's entertainment begins "Christmas in the Eyes of a Child" in the Church Square.

On Sunday they come pastoral and humor. At 17.00 hours there will be a parade of pastoral by different streets of the city, ending at the Plaza del Santo Cristo and at 18.00 a pastoral contest inside the Chapelof the Holy Christ, where attendees can taste churros with chocolate. From 21:00 in the Palace of Exhibition and Congresses, a humour show will be celebrated, with performances by comedians Manolo Sarria, Justo Gómez and Angel Rielo.
The last day of the year will be held New Year's Eve Party in the marquee on the Parque Arroyo de la Represa (near the temple), with the show of the band "Velada" (free entry).
The festivities continue in the new year 2016. On Sunday January 3 from 11:00 there will be another Christmas parade, titled "Good morning with Peppa", and a children's party in Parque Arroyo de la Represa, with different activities, bouncy castles, face painting and animation show "Peppa Pig".
From 17:00 a snack of "Roscón de Reyes" at the Centers for Active Participation of Seniors of Miraflores and  Plaza de Toros. The day ends with the children's play "Pinocchio. A musical to dream" in the Teatro Ciudad de Marbella, from 18:00.
On 4th we have two snacks of "Roscón de Reyes", one of them with a party for Grandparent / Grandchild and dancing in the Social Center of Santa Marta and the other one in Active Participation Centers of Seniors "Los Paisajes".
On Tuesday, January 5 is the day of the parade and the Three Wise Men come to our city aboard the ship "Fly Blue" that will dock at the port at 12.00. From there they will travel to Marbella´s townhall square. Later  the parade will start with the following route: Avda. Severo Ochoa (Bldg The Zambomba.), Avda Ramon y Cajal, Avda Ricardo Soriano and ends at  Monseñor Rodrigo Bocanegra square. At 18.00 there will be a snack of  "Roscón de Reyes" at the Center for Active Participation Encarna Cantero.
As we see, it is impossible to be bored in Marbella during any season, less at Christmas. So if you want to move to our city, you may find the ideal home in our list of properties.
