Rio Real Golf
Rio Real first opened in 1965, just 3km east of Marbella centre. The 18-hole course was designed by Javier Arana and is a par 72. Rio Real is situated in a natural sloping valley, offering challenging greens. Part of the Rio Real Resort with its own country club and golf learning academy. One of the best courses in Marbella.
Atalaya Golf, Estepona
The Old Course was designed by Bernard von Limburger, who was the winner of the 1925 German Golf Championships. The course is situated on the Ctra de Benahavis, Estepona (11km west of Marbella but worth a visit). With its wide fairways and large elevated greens, this championship course provides a challenge to golfers at all levels. Elegant and mature with spectacular views of La Concha mountain. Atalaya New Course offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar and is seen as one of the most natural courses on the coast.
